Dual Core Laptops and Mobile Broadband

Dual Core Laptops and Mobile Broadband

A dual core processor is in effect, two processors in one allowing your operating system to multitask better than two single core processors of similar specification.

With a dual core processor, your operating system will be able to multitask or perform different functions simultaneously using less energy and generating less heat, ensuring that your laptop is able to perform at its best.

Laptop Mobile Broadband with Dual Core Processors

If you’re after a dual core processor, you have a wide range of laptops, mobile broadband providers and mobile broadband packages to choose from.

All laptops come with a free dongle or USB modem, many laptops are free, where you don’t pay any upfront costs, and many also come with free texts.

What is a Dual Core Processor?

Dual core processors are essentially two processors on a single chip. There are many advantages of having both processors in such close proximity to each other and these go far beyond the obvious space saving advantage.

As signals between the processors do not leave the chip, there is no need of amplification which not only degrades the signal but also requires energy and creates heat. Fewer signals are lost as a result, and therefore more data can be moved reliably between the processors per unit of time.

Although some early dual core processors had one cache serving both CPU's, newer models dedicate an L2 cache to each processor saving energy.

Controlling airflow and cooling a single dual core processor is much simpler than cooling two separate processors, which simplifies the internal laptop build, lowering cost and increasing reliability.
