Network operators 3 Mobile, Orange and T-Mobile have further enhanced the 3G experience by making improvements to their 3G mobile broadband.

UK 3G Coverage

3 Mobile and T-Mobile are partners in the Mobile Broadband Network Ltd (MBNL) and along with Orange have together ensured that a staggering 12,000 new consolidated 3G sites are available in the past three years alone.

These 3G sites have given subscribers the opportunity to have better coverage in urban areas. This also means a large and ever-increasing number of rural communities which are now capable of accessing the web by simply using a broadband dongle. Or at least, that’s what the network operators had to say about their joint venture’s move with the 3G sites.

Graham Payne of MBNL believes that this would enhance the 3G service and hopes that it will be exciting for their subscribers.

He also said: "My thanks to all who have worked so hard to deliver this fantastic network, special thanks go to our key partners who are rightly proud of their roles in this project."

3 Mobile was ranked UK's best mobile broadband provider in a poll that was conducted by YouGov just last month.
